FOOTBALL CLUB DAO LAUNCHES WITH THE ULTIMATE MISSION TO PURCHASE A PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL CLUB.

THE WORLDWIDE WEB - As the world of football increasingly transforms into a cash making machine straying away from the beauty and social power of the game, Football Club DAO launches as a social club with the aim to put the power back into the hands of fans and aficionados.

With an international roster of 71 club members - with experience spanning from the sports, fashion, art, community, business and tech industries - pooled together by the love for football, FC DAO aims to bring essential values back to the game and ultimately purchase a grade A football club.

As an autonomous organization, Football Club DAO has outlined its objectives through a clear and evolving roadmap that revolves around two main goals: to create the largest social club of football fans in the world and own a professional football team.

The roadmap follows a four-quarter structure featuring twenty three steps, each publicly stated on the organization’s website for the community to see, with the aim keep the DAO accountable.

Fully governed by its members, the DAO follows a progressive decentralization strategy centered around transparency and democratic jurisdiction.

This strategy will allow the team to focus on developing a diverse ownership, innovate, and create a seamless path towards regulatory compliance ahead of attempting to purchase a football club.

In order to honor its mission to be an inclusive social club, Football Club DAO created their initial membership ERC-20 token on the Polygon network* to avoid high transaction fees, allowing the founders to mint and distribute tokens at no cost for incoming members.

While most members of the social club itself will focus on creating and enjoying incredible experiences and products, club members interested in the ambitious idea of a DAO owning and running a professional football team are working to develop various models and legal structures to turn the long term goal into a reality.

Football Club DAO envisions a future where it can offer as a launchpad for local communities and collectives to come together and create their own DAOs to take back their teams.

2 From the moment you arrive here, you'll never walk alone. We make sure all club members feel like they are joining a true football family the moment they arrive.

3 Club members will work together to build out the community and propose/vote on projects that get us closer to our long term goal of buying and running a top-flight football team.

4 If you haven’t failed you haven’t tried. Embrace failure and don’t be afraid to propose ideas that might fail or get rejected.

5 Remember that even though we thrive and live on the pitch, your health comes first. Look out for each other and know when to come up for air and take a breather. We need our squad at full strength all the way through the championship… luckily the roster is deep.

6 Strongest and fastest-learning members are expected to teach and encourage newer and less experienced members to grow. Members who consistently help and encourage others to improve the speed and strength of the weakest members will be acknowledged with MVP and Team Captain roles

7 Corruption is for cowards.

8 Trash talk is fun but footballers know that actions speak louder than words. Be a good representative of Football Club DAO both here and irl to show the world our value. You don’t have to be a saint, just don’t be an a**hole.

9 If you came to our DAO to flip tokens or get rich quick, this isn't the DAO for you. We are building a football-first decentralized community for the love of the game, and we’re here for the long haul.

10 We don’t need or want you to shameless plug our membership or currency tokens to everyone you know. That doesn’t help us achieve our goal. There are billions of football fans worldwide, and we're confident that organic growth to fans of the game is the best strategy to success.
